POSITION SUMMARY

This position performs monthly forecasts and analysis relative to targets and assists leadership with preparation of the annual strategic plan and operation budget.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ââ âProvide financial advisory support to business managers.
ââ âOversee compliance with critical accounting activities (e.g. revenue recognition inventory accounting accrued liabilities etc.)
ââ âDevelop and distribute monthly management reports to review and analyze business performance.
ââ âAnalyze monthly financial results relative to targets and make recommendations for course corrections.
ââ âAnalyze profitability of respective business lines and new product launches.
ââ âPrepare strategic planning financials and annual operating budgets.
ââ âPrepare monthly forecast and analysis relative to targets.
ââ âProvide commercial finance support (e.g. pricing RFP responses).
ââ âPrepare financial justification for appropriation requests.
ââ âAccountable for reliability of relevant financial processes and associated internal control compliance.
ââ âLead and assist with projects to improve financial reporting and analytical capabilities.
ââ âMonitor support levels provided by Global Business Services organization.
ââ âPlan direct and coordinate activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentor coach train and develop team.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
ââ âBachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or related field
ââ âAdvanced degree (MBA Masters) preferred
ââ â8 years progressive managerial accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
ââ â5 years in a leadership role
ââ âOccasional travel either locally nationally and/or internationally may be required.
ââ âAccounting expertise; knowledge of US GAAP
ââ âProficiency in MS Office Suite Outlook & Internet applications
ââ âExperience with SAP ERP/BPC/BI
ââ âAbility to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization as well as internal and external clients.
ââ âAbility to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
ââ âAbility to work with and influence peers and management.
ââ âSelf-motivated with critical attention to detail deadlines and reporting.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $140000 USD - $150000 USD annually. Ultimately in determining pay we will consider the successful candidates location experience and other job-related factors.
