BI Analyst

• Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Jet Reporting.
• Perform daily weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
• Explore and build Power Apps and Power Automate
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and create solutions using Power BI. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and actionable insights.
• Implement row-level security and user permissions within Power BI workspaces.
• Connect Power BI to various data sources such as SQL Server Excel SharePoint and APIs.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionality and usage.
• Support with data governance and centralization projects
• Occasionally may perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

• In-depth understanding of the Power BI Platform
• Understanding of data extraction transformation and loading processes.
• Familiarity with connecting to various data sources (SQL Server Excel SharePoint APIs Azure).
• Knowledge of KPIs metrics and dashboard design best practices.
• Understanding of backend ERP systems is an asset particularly Microsoft Navision
• Strong problem-solving skills to interpret and analyze data
• Ability to manage multiple BI projects simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelors Degree in a related field such as: Computer Science Information Technology Business Analytics
• Microsoft certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI) is an asset.
• 3-5 years of experience

• Base Pay: $60300 - $69200/Yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location.
