Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Compensation

Travel Rate: $30/hour
Local Rate: $27/hour

Job Summary

The Endoscopy Technician supports gastroenterology procedures by assisting physicians and clinical staff during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. This role requires specialized experience in advanced endoscopy and ensures safe efficient and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures including ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS).
Prepare procedure rooms equipment and supplies prior to patient arrival.
Ensure proper cleaning disinfection and handling of endoscopic equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
Monitor patient safety and assist with patient positioning during procedures.
Anticipate procedural needs and provide technical support throughout cases.
Maintain accurate documentation related to procedures and equipment usage.
Follow facility policies safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate effectively with physicians nurses and anesthesia staff to ensure smooth procedural flow.

Required Experience & Skills

ERCP experience required
Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) experience required
Prior experience working in an endoscopy unit preferred
Strong knowledge of endoscopic equipment and sterile processing
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
