Key Responsibilities
- SEC reserves estimation and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Prepare and present material necessary for the completion of internal and external technical and process audits
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary asset teams corporate planning and accounting teams to ensure accurate forecasting of volumes and economic inputs for reserve estimation
- Lead initiatives to streamline current workflows and implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity and increase efficiency
- Track and communicate performance metrics for areas of responsibility to support informed decision-making
- Collaborate with corporate technical team and division asset teams to identify and prioritize technical projects for asset optimization
- Perform reservoir engineering analyses including decline curve analysis material balance volumetric calculations pressure transient analysis rate transient analysis and nodal analysis to support volume forecasts
- Contribute to reservoir simulation studies and PVT analysis as needed
- Prepare and present reserve reports and technical findings to senior management
- Education: Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline
- Experience:
- 7 years in oil & gas including at least 3 years in reservoir engineering and exposure to operations
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in reservoir engineering principles and fundamentals
- Working knowledge of commercial economics software (e.g. ARIES ComboCurve)
- Familiarity with reservoir simulation and PVT analysis
- Ability to integrate data from all disciplines including geology geophysics and petrophysics
- Soft Skills:
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly data-driven and intellectually curious
- Ability to influence decisions and lead cross-functional initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities

- Experience with SEC reserves reporting
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
