We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives in the Western Region of India covering Maharashtra Gujarat and Goa. This role is critical in expanding our customer base increasing market share and ensuring customer satisfaction for our portfolio of laboratory instruments and consumables.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Drive sales for Biotages product lines including:
- Automated Flash Chromatography
- Microwave Synthesizers
- Solid Phase Peptide Synthesizers
- Solvent and Nitrogen Evaporators
- Automated Sample Preparation Systems
- Plasmid Purification and Scale-Up Purification Systems
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Identify new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities. Develop and execute strategies to grow regional sales.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with national sales and service teams to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide regular updates on sales performance customer feedback and market dynamics.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher in Life Sciences Chemistry or a related field (postgraduate qualifications highly desirable)).
- Proven experience in selling laboratory instruments especially in chromatography microwave systems or peptide synthesis.
- Familiarity with small molecule synthesis and purification systems is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Maharashtra Gujarat and Goa.
- Knowledge of the Western Indian market is a plus.
