Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 312-Hour Shifts per Week
Pay Rate: $48$58 per hour
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical Surgical Unit in Montour Falls NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of nursing experience and be capable of stepping into a charge nurse role when needed to support safe and efficient unit operations.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive direct patient care within a medical-surgical environment.
Serve in a charge nurse capacity as needed overseeing workflow and staff coordination.
Perform patient assessments administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
Promote and maintain patient safety while supporting and guiding unit staff.
Accurately document all care provided in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop implement and modify care plans.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience (Medical-Surgical experience preferred).
Active New York State RN License.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively manage workflow and support staff in a fast-paced environment.
