Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays CT scans and MRIs
- Interpret radiological results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology and imaging technology
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and interns
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Georgia
- Strong understanding of radiology and imaging techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Basic proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-hour day shifts
Will perform the full scope of breast imaging and related procedures
Must be fully proficient in all breast imaging modalities including mammography (screening and diagnostic) breast ultrasound breast MRI and imageguided breast biopsy procedures
EMR: CPRS
Any active unrestricted U.S. medical license accepted
Must be board-certified
