This on-site contract position presents a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care within the fast-paced and critical field of neurosurgery.
As a Locum MD in Neurosurgery you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical services while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with neurological conditions performing surgeries and contributing to patient management and recovery plans. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat various neurological disorders
- Perform neurosurgical procedures with precision and care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in continuous education and training sessions
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in Washington State
- Completion of a residency in Neurosurgery
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
- Prior experience in a similar locum role is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p
Daily Volume: 8 clinic patients 3 procedures
Clinical Duties: Outpatient clinic appointments surgical procedures post-operative rounding consultations etc.
EMR: CPRS
Any active unrestricted U.S. medical license accepted
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
