Job Summary and Responsibilities

Position Summary

  • The P Coordinator functions as the Prehospital and Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator

Job Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the state of California.
  • Associate of Nursing (ADN) or 1 - 3 years of experience (at least 2 years of acute care nursing experience)
  • Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
  • Must possess and maintain a currentAdvancedCardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate
  • Must possess and maintain a current Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) within 6 months of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 18 months of hire
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 6 months of hire
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire
Desired
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Pediatric experience
  • MICN experience
  • Certified Pediatric EmergencyNurse BCEN (CPEN-BCEN)
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
