Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of Overseas Accounting department (OAD) in Finance division.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform review on stations accounts receivables and payables for the region in charge.
- Business partner with station users on budgeting and forecasting exercise.
- Review cash audit check and suspense accounts.
- Handle the queries from stations in charge and assists to troubleshoot.
- Assist station users with application of system access and review their Segregation of Duty Matrix to flag out discrepancies (if any).
- Perform relief duties (during Head of Accounting Units absence) and review accounting controls at overseas stations to ensure that stations are complying with the accounting procedures.
- Work with IT team and Business Technology Finance on system enhancements projects.
- Assist with the month-end financial closing activities as well as other assignments and projects as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification recognised by Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
- At least 2 to 3 years of working experience.
- Meticulous.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change.
- Effective communications skills.
- Project management skills
