Human Resources Administration at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a HR Assistant (Temp). This temporary role is ideal for an HR professional who can adapt quickly manage multiple priorities and provide dependable operational support during a period of increased workload or staffing transition.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

The HR Assistant (Temp) provides day-to-day human resources support to ensure effective and compliant HR operations. This role assists with a wide range of HR functions including Classification and Compensation Talent Management HR data entry and records management and general policy and process guidance. The position serves as a resource helping to facilitate timely and accurate response to incoming inquires.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies procedures and programs escalating complex issues as appropriate.

  • Assist with Classification and Compensation request tracking documentation and follow-up as directed by leadership.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with organizational and legal requirements.

  • Support recruitment activities such as posting jobs screening resumes and scheduling interviews.

  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance HR efficiency and service delivery.

  • Provide additional project or administrative support as needed.
