Job Summary

System Architect Senior
Clearance: Active TS required
Education/Experience: BA/BS and at least ten (10) years of relevant experience

Overview
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Senior System Architect for a potential opportunity. The selected candidate will design and develop enterprise system architecturesincluding software hardware and communication componentsto support current requirements and anticipate future cross-functional needs.

Location: 100% Remote (must be within commutable distance to Northern Virginia)

Key Responsibilities

Identify assess and recommend solutions to meet functional and technical requirements including hardware/software updates or upgrades.
Develop high-level system design diagrams and architectural documentation.
Ensure compliance with common operating environment standards.
Analyze workflow organizational and planning issues and develop effective corrective actions.
Ensure system compatibility and compliance with open systems architecture standards including OSI and ISO reference models.
Apply relevant standardssuch as IEEE Open Systems Environment (OSE)to support implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solutions across application platforms APIs and external environments/software applications.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS degree.
At least ten (10) years of relevant system architecture experience.
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance.
