We are seeking a Business Tax Senior Accountant to join a growing Business Tax team in Nashville. Key Responsibilities
Tax Preparation & Compliance

Prepare and review complex federal state and local business tax returns

Respond to client tax inquiries and handle routine matters independently
Client Engagement
-
Participate in client meetings and information gathering

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Identify opportunities to expand services across additional service lines
Planning & Consulting
-
Support tax planning research and consulting projects
-
Assist with special and ad hoc tax engagements
Project & Time Management
-
Track time and billing and recommend billing amounts to leadership
Compliance & Professional Standards

Follow firm policies confidentiality standards and ethical guidelines

Ensure compliance with AICPA and applicable state regulatory requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education & Credentials
-
Bachelors degree required
-
CPA preferred (or 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam)
Experience
-
2 years of progressive tax experience preferably in public accounting
