Job Title: Business Development Executive - Corporate GiftingJob Description:The Business Development Executive is responsible for managing the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to order closure with a strong focus on understanding client requirements recommending the right gifting solutions and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The role includes lead management appointment setting product pitching proposal development negotiation and post-sales Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Lead Database Management- Receive and enter all Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into the CRM or tracking sheet.- Assign qualification status (Cold Warm Qualified) and set contact priority for each lead.- Log every interaction call and meeting to maintain an accurate and updated lead pipeline.- Identify new business opportunities through market research referrals and networking.2. Pre-Sales & Appointment Setting- Qualify leads based on budget quantity requirements product category and gifting purpose.- Craft personalized outreach messages and call scripts tailored to the clients industry and need.- Initiate first-level communication and successfully schedule introductory consultations with decision-makers.- Understand client expectations to prepare for the next stage of engagement.3. Needs Analysis & Product Presentation- Conduct a detailed needs analysis to understand client budget event/occasion branding guidelines and delivery timelines.- Present 23 customized gifting solutions such as Welcome Kits Corporate Merchandise Apparel Drinkware and Customized Hampers.- Provide an indicative pricing range and highlight product features customization options and brand benefits.- Secure commitment for the next step (samples design approval or formal proposal).4. Sales Proposal Development & Negotiation- Prepare detailed proposals with product options quantity pricing timelines and branding specifications.- Present proposals address objections and negotiate commercial terms.- Close orders and ensure timely collection of advance payments (if applicable).- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.5. Post-Sales Coordination & Client Satisfaction- Convert signed Sales Orders (SO) and hand them over to the Operations/Production team with complete clarity on client requirements.- Coordinate with internal teams on approvals samples timelines and dispatch updates.- Conduct a courtesy follow-up call two weeks after delivery to ensure the client is fully satisfied (supporting the 9/10 CSAT goal).- Request testimonials online reviews and referrals from satisfied clients.- Identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities for festive orders bulk gifting or repeat needs.6. Reporting & Collaboration- Maintain accurate sales activity records in the CRM.- Share weekly sales reports forecast updates and pipeline status with the management team.- Collaborate with the design and operations teams to ensure client requirements are met Skills & Qualifications- Masters degree in Business Marketing or related field.- 0-1 years of experience in business development preferably in corporate gifting merchandising printing or B2B sales.- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.- Ability to present product solutions creatively and confidently.- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Competencies- Customer-centric selling- Strong follow-up discipline- Time and pipeline management- Problem-solving and objection handling- Attention to detail (especially for product specs and branding)Work Environment- Full-time role office-based.- May require occasional travel for client meetings or vendor visits.
