Job Summary
Job Title: Technical Engineering Manager
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 20 to 25 years
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Engineering Manager to drive engineering quality architectural integrity and technical excellence across enterprise-scale applications. This role focuses on technical stewardship guiding engineering teams to deliver robust scalable and secure solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. The ideal candidate will act as a technical authority enabling teams through best practices design reviews and performance optimizationwithout formal people management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Quality & Architecture
- Enforce engineering best practices coding standards and architectural principles for .NET-based applications.
- Review and validate system designs implementation for scalability security and compliance.
- Drive adoption of modern development practices (microservices containerization DevOps).
Technical Leadership
- Act as a subject matter expert to the teams for architecture and integration strategies using Microsoft stack (.NET SQL Server Azure).
- Conduct technical reviews and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams.
- Champion CI/CD automation and observability frameworks for proactive issue detection.
Performance & Optimization
- Collaborate with teams in capacity planning performance tuning and reliability engineering for Azure-hosted applications.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide resolution strategies.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering Manager architects product managers and infrastructure teams and the Engineering Teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Communicate design decisions and trade-offs to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree Systems Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in system engineering architecture and integration within enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems using Microsoft technologies (.NET SQL Server Azure).
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) networking virtualization and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell Python Bash).
- Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform Ansible).
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as Cloud Solutions Architect.
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO SOC GDPR DPDP 2025).
