About the role:

Are you passionate about sustainability education and creating memorable experiences for visitors of all ages The Hive Climate Education Centre is looking for a dynamic hands-on individual to help bring our mission to life.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Hive Centre Assistant youll be at the heart of our operationsensuring the centre is clean safe and welcoming while supporting a wide range of activities. Your day might include:

  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals
  • Helping to care for our resident animals
  • Supporting events with logistics setup and guest management
  • Keeping our facilities spotlessfrom classrooms to sleeping pods
  • Managing stock supplies and deliveries

Qualifications and Requirements:

We need someone whos:

  • Experienced in food preparation cleaning and ideally animal care
  • Flexible proactive and able to work independently
  • Comfortable juggling tasks and solving problems on the go
  • Diplomatic and confident when interacting with visitors and contractors
  • Able to work evenings and weekends as and when required
  • Ideally holds a valid driving license (due to our remote location)

Food hygiene allergen awareness and COSHH qualifications are a plusbut dont worry we offer training!

Qualifications:

  • GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4) or equivalent (required)
  • Relevant NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification (desired)
