Job Summary
Are you passionate about shaping the financial future of novel artificial general intelligence technology Join our team as we revolutionize AI inference capacity and cost structure this role youll partner with Amazons AGI Nova runtime team to develop innovative financial strategies that support our rapidly expanding AI products and services.
You will drive critical financial analyses and planning that inform strategic decision-making across Amazons AGI initiatives. By leveraging your problem-solving expertise and cross-team collaboration skills youll help optimize our GenAI inference capabilities while ensuring financial sustainability as we scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Research technical operational and financial details to understand AGI Nova runtime business drivers develop insights and represent this financial perspective in cross-functional discussions with finance engineering and product teams.
- Partner with the AGI Nova runtime and AWS Bedrock teams to analyze inference capacity requirements and develop cost structures that balance technological innovation with financial sustainability.
- Organize work effectively by setting clear priorities determining resource requirements for financial planning monitoring progress of initiatives and evaluating outcomes against established metrics.
- Create new and novel inference usage reporting and metrics focused on internal adoption of AGIs Nova products and services.
- Anticipate and adapt to rapidly changing priorities in the evolving AGI landscape making sound decisions with limited information to accomplish objectives in novel situations.
A day in the life
Your role will require close collaboration across AGI Finance AGI Nova runtime and AGI Product teams to understand customer usage and inferencing capacity metrics of AGIs Nova products and services. This means youre on the front lines helping to identify anomalies in the data to help influence the financial margins of AGIs Nova GenAI products and services.

- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
- 3 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Experience partnering with business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business settings
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning forecasting and reporting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
