Job Summary

Job Title: Locum Pediatric Physician

Join our healthcare team in beautiful Grass Valley California where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care at our Family Birth Center Emergency Department and Inpatient units. Our facility is dedicated to supporting families and young patients in a compassionate environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals interested in working with a supportive team while making a significant impact on pediatric healthcare.

Job Responsibilities:

Round daily on newborns and provide coverage for newborn/delivery needs.
Conduct ED consultations and admit patients from the ED to the inpatient setting (though this is rare).
Perform required procedures such as neonatal resuscitations and assist with pediatric resuscitations.
Engage in airway management venous access and other applicable procedures as necessary.
Collaborate with L&D nurses OB/Gyns anesthesiologists ED physicians hospitalists and tele-intensivists.

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible within the last five years.
Valid state medical license.
Active DEA certification during credentialing.
Preferred: malpractice insurance.
Must be available for specific dates only.

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
State License is required.
DEA certification required during credentialing.
Malpractice insurance is highly preferred.
