**Core Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioners (NP):
**
- Deliver a comprehensive spectrum of evidence-based NP services in alignment with privileges conferred by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). Responsibilities include supervising conducting general screenings and providing medical assessments for both routine and acute/chronic conditions encompassing all organ systems. Administer immunizations and diagnose treat and counsel patients as clinically indicated.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to healthcare staff. Facilitate evidence-based educational sessions and actively engage in in-service training for team members.
- Assess and manage patients presenting with common acute conditions chronic diseases or minor injuries adhering to established protocols clinical practice guidelines and/or in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Advocate for preventive care and health maintenance through annual health assessments promotion of positive health practices and individualized patient education and counseling.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse interdisciplinary team to relay care plans educate patients and families and enhance organizational outcomes.
- Identify and manage conditions necessitating isolation ensuring strict adherence to universal precautions across all patient interactions.
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss case studies engage in continuing education and contribute towards continuous quality improvement and safety initiatives.
**Work Schedule:**
- Monday to Friday 8.5 hours daily between 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM
- No weekend or holiday shifts- No on-call responsibilities
**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education:** Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited program (ACEN or CCNE).-
**Experience:** At least 2 years of practice in a primary care environment within the last 3 years.-
**Licensure:** Active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.-
**Board Certification:** Certification through ANCC or AANP for Nurse Practitioners; or relevant national certification for the specialty (e.g. Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses Obstetric Gynecologic and Neonatal specialties).-
**Life Support Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross required.
- **Security Clearance:** Must successfully pass a government background check and obtain necessary security clearance.
