As a Locum MD in Pediatrics you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical care to children addressing their unique health needs and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical evaluations and treatments for pediatric patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement treatment plans
- Conduct routine check-ups and preventive care assessments
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses in children
- Educate patients and families on health issues and preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to clinical discussions
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pediatric medicine
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Experience in pediatric medicine is preferred
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of current medical guidelines and best practices in pediatrics
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic medical environment
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 to 10-hour shifts
Patient Census: 12-16 per day
Patient Population: Infants children and adolescents
Duties: Conduct routine check-ups physical examinations and health assessments diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions provide immunizations and preventive health services etc.
Any active unrestricted state license accepted
Must be board-certified
