We originate equipment finance agreements operating leases and specialty structures across diverse industries and partner closely with banks syndication partners and investors. We are expanding our Capital Markets team to support our growing origination volume and evolving funding strategy. Position Overview The Capital Markets Manager is responsible for managing CCCs funding relationships executing loan and lease portfolio sales overseeing discounting/syndication transactions supporting credit line utilization and developing new capital sources. This role sits at the center of CCCs growth strategy and directly impacts liquidity balance-sheet strategy and profitability. You will serve as the primary point of contact for bank partners and investors manage deal packaging and execution coordinate internal stakeholders and ensure all transactions close accurately and efficiently. This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment understands structured finance or equipment finance and wants to play a major role in shaping CCCs future funding model. Key Responsibilities Capital Markets Management - Manage the full lifecycle of funding transactions including warehouse line draws discounting syndications participations and portfolio sales.
- Prepare and deliver funding packages: credit write-ups data tapes cashflows lease/loan documents collateral packages and audit materials.
- Structure transactions to optimize advance rates pricing gain-on-sale and capital efficiency.
- Oversee movement of contracts off the warehouse line within agreed timelines (e.g. 120-day sale window).
- Track and reconcile all outstanding positions across funding partners.
Relationship Growth Manager - Serve as the primary relationship manager for existing lenders banks and funding partners.
- Maintain regular communication pipeline updates and performance reporting.
- Develop new funding relationships to expand CCCs capital base and diversify sources.
Financial / Analytical Work - Build and maintain economic models supporting discounting scenarios advance-rate sensitivity gross margin projections and net investment calculations.
- Analyze partner pricing eligibility criteria and risk appetite to determine funder fit for each transaction.
- Maintain accurate reporting on gain-on-sale funding costs and portfolio performance.
Internal Coordination - Work closely with Credit Finance Portfolio Management and Operations to ensure smooth execution of each transaction.
- Review deal structures for funder eligibility and provide early guidance to Sales and Credit.
- Ensure loan/lease documentation aligns with funding partner requirements; coordinate amendments when needed.
- Support internal audits compliance reviews and financial reporting tied to Capital Markets.
Process & Infrastructure Development - Improve and refine CCCs Capital Markets Playbook funding strategy and execution processes.
- Help implement automation and system integrations supporting capital markets workflows.
- Ensure accurate data integrity for loan tapes asset schedules and funding reports.
Qualifications - 37 years of experience in equipment finance commercial lending capital markets syndication structured finance or bank credit/portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of loan/lease structures (EFA DFL FMV/Operating Lease TRAC master agreements etc.).
- Solid financial modeling and Excel skills (discounting PV math data tape construction gain-on-sale calculations).
- Demonstrated ability to manage external banking relationships.
- Strong relationship-management skills and ability to coordinate the selling and funding of loans and leases with a cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred - Experience with warehouse lines securitization or portfolio sales.
- Knowledge of ASC 842/310-20 concepts related to leasing and loan accounting.
- Experience with CRM or contract management systems (e.g. Salesforce Dynamics/Leasepath).
- Familiarity with equipment finance underwriting.
