You Will Be Doing:
As a Program Coordinator 1 with the Child Care Program Office (CCPO) youll be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for supporting families in accessing safe healthy and quality childcare. This position is on the Quality and Capacity Building Team working to enhance childcare quality expand capacity and ensure accessibility for all families especially those with infants school-aged children and children with special needs. You will engage with many partners and agencies within the field to support a robust early childhood system.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:
This position is located in Anchorage at the Child Care Program Office in the Frontier Building 3601 C St Suite 140. You will work with experienced staff who support CCPOs mission in an environment of mutual respect and trust where staff are encouraged to participate in decisions that affect their work. The position offers the potential for a hybrid telework arrangement after the probationary period in the office.

Training and education are synonyms for the process of acquiring knowledge and skills through instruction. It includes instruction through formal and informal methods (such as classroom on-line self-study and on-the-job) from accredited and unaccredited sources and long-duration (such as a post-secondary degree) and short-duration (such as a seminar) programs.

Progressively responsible means indicating growth and/or advancement in complexity difficulty or level of responsibility.

Additional Required Information
