Business Finance FP&A Lead

As the Business Finance FP&A Lead at NCS Australia you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our organisation. Acting as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders youll collaborate closely with department heads to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the budgeting forecasting and financial reporting processes.
• Analysing financial data to identify trends risks and opportunities.
• Providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making at the highest level.
• Driving continuous improvement and automation in financial processes including the use of AI for forecasting and scenario planning.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and implementing robust risk management strategies.
• Coaching and mentoring operational and sales teams in financial best practices.

Youll be instrumental in integrating business processes systems and structures to support our ambitious growth targets. With oversight of a team of FP&A professionals youll help shape a high-performing collaborative finance function that supports both commercial and delivery excellence.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience with Apigee API Management Platform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Strong understanding of API design development and management principles
• Proficiency in containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Scripting skills in languages like Bash Python or similar
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and deployment models
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI/CD) is preferred
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack) is a plus
• Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible is desirable
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards is advantageous
• Extensive experience in API management and cloud platform engineering
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect Apigee Certified API Engineer) are preferred
• Experience in the financial services healthcare or e-commerce industries would be beneficial

• Significant experience as a Business Finance Partner or Senior FP&A Leader within a professional services firm or similar 
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in financial modelling and deal shaping.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation tools; experience with enterprise systems such as Salesforce Certinia SAP or PowerBI is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• A strategic mindset meticulous attention to detail and the resilience to thrive under pressure.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance Accounting or Business (CPA/CA highly regarded).

Experience in M&A post-acquisition integration and working in multinational environment (especially across Australia and Singapore) will be highly regarded.
