Position Summary
The role is responsible for delivering patient-centered specialized nursing care across the continuum using an interprofessional approach to treatment research education and advocacy. The nurse coordinates care for assigned patients during each shift to support positive clinical outcomes while providing direction to team members to ensure quality safety and excellence.
This position delivers evidence-based care in alignment with Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital policies procedures and protocols and works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. The nurse actively supports departmental and hospital safety standards promotes quality improvement initiatives and practices responsible cost-effective use of resources.
Additional responsibilities include completing all annual requirements and competencies participating in the performance appraisal process and consistently demonstrating the organizations core values.
Requirements:
Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital is recognized as a Magnet(R) designated hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) the largest and most prominent nurses credentialing organization in the world.
Salary Range: Minimum 37.22/hour - Maximum 57.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
