Job Summary
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nurse Manager to join our team! This individual will be working in The Neuroscience Unit which is a 36-Bed Unit and is an essential part of The Joint Commission and the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services certified Primary Stroke Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that safe age-appropriate patient care is provided during hours of unit operation.
- Functions as role model advisor resource and leader for other members of the patient care team.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse License.
- Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
- Basic Life Support and ACLS Certificate.
- NIHSS Certification within 90 days of hire.
- Education: Masters Degree Preferred; Bachelors in Nursing required.
- 2 years of direct Neuro Nursing experience.
- 3 years of experience in Hospital Nurse Management.
Hours:
- Full Time - 40 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
