Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and patient-centered Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a fast-paced acute-care this role you will provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care manage both invasive and noninvasive ventilation and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams. The ideal candidate brings strong critical-thinking skills technical proficiency and the ability to excel in a high-acuity setting.
Responsibilities
Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments including airway evaluation breath sounds and cuff pressures.
Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine therapy needs and evaluate patient response.
Administer respiratory treatments such as oxygen therapy nebulized medications and chest physiotherapy.
Assist with the placement monitoring and management of artificial airways.
Initiate adjust and maintain invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
Monitor patient progress identify changes in clinical status and take timely action as needed.
Assist with safe transport of ventilated patients.
Respond quickly to emergencies ensuring airway integrity and effective ventilation during resuscitation.
Complete accurate timely documentation of assessments interventions and patient responses.
Collaborate with nursing physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient care.
Required Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) credential with active state licensure.
Associate Degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
