Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that improve patient mobility strength and overall functional independence.

Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic exercises gait training and mobility assistance
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

Active state Physical Therapy Assistant license (must be current)
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
Less than 1 year of experience accepted
Strong communication and patient care skills
