Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an Excavator/Loader Operator to join our team in Hemmant QLD.
Position Details:
- Role: Excavator/Loader Operator Day Shift
- Start Time: 4:45 AM
- Pay Rate: From $50/hr
- Overtime: Paid after 38 hours
- Location: Hemmant QLD
- Start: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely isolate equipment before maintenance
- Optimise plant feed and pre-sort materials
- Perform daily maintenance (greasing refuelling air filter cleaning)
- Weekly high-pressure wash of coolers
- Complete pre-start inspections and maintain cabin cleanliness
- Promote safety and report incidents
- Identify process improvements using lean tools
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication
Requirements:
- Excavator and Loader tickets (both required)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test
- Comply with Face Fit Policy
- Unlimited working Rights in Australia
PPE Required: Face mask steel cap boots hard hat high-vis long-sleeved shirt and pants
