The Opportunity & School Profile
This highly successful Outstanding secondary boys school requires a dynamic Design Technology (DT) Teacher for a temporary contract to cover a period of absence. The school needs a specialist capable of inspiring technical excellence and delivering the full breadth of the DT curriculum up to Year 10.
Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope
- Innovation Leader: Instructing Design Technology (all disciplines) across Key Stage 3 and Year 10 (KS4).
- Materials Maven: Driving high attainment by cultivating strong practical workshop skills and technical drawing.
- Workshop Guide: Ensuring safe practice and contributing to the maintenance of workshop facilities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Essential Requirements: Relevant Degree in Design Technology and QTS. Proven experience teaching DT to GCSE level.
- Salary: Paid on the national Teachers Pay Scale (M/UPS) commensurate with experience.
