Job Summary

Experienced Security Engineer Wanted: Master IT & Cybersecurity Across Networks Firewalls and XDR.
Leverage your deep IT background and security expertise to implement and support best-in-class solutions from Check Point Palo Alto Barracuda Networks CrowdStrike Tenable Abnormal and others.
Key responsibilities:
- Pre-sales Support: Assist sales teams with technical expertise and translate business requirements into a technical solution.
- Design & Implement Security Solutions: Design deploy and configure security solutions based on best practices.
- Security Integration & Architecture: Integrate security controls across network endpoint and cloud environments; ensure alignment with Zero Trust and SASE principles.
- Threat Detection & Vulnerability Management: Utilize tools such as CrowdStrike and Tenable to identify assess and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Investigate security incidents analyze logs and coordinate remediation efforts to minimize impact.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of configurations incidents and risk assessments; prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Advisory: Work closely with IT teams and clients to provide security guidance training and best practices.
The Engineering team in Cyber Defense Technologies have members in Copenhagen Denmark. Based on client requirements we are working from where its required (DNV Offices Client premises Remote etc.).

Qualifications
You have the following experience:
- Passion for understandingand building security solutions for enterprises.
- Ambitions to be or become one of the best in your field.
- Several years of experience as a consultant or equivalent role in technical delivery.
- Advanced skills within NGFW and Network Architecture.
- Engineer Certification from Check Point Barracuda Network Fortinet Palo Alto or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in both Danish and English.
- Have an appetite to learn as there will be a lot you still dont know but we can make sure you will learn from your peers.
- Experience with at least:
- Network Security Infrastructure
- Zero Trust Network Access framework (ZTNA)
- Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
- Cloud Platforms (Azure Amazon etc.)
- Endpoint Security Solutions
- Vulnerability Management / Exposure Management
