The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible forperforming complex laboratory tests on patient specimens toaid in the diagnosis treatment and prevention of diseases. This individual must demonstrate precision analytical thinking and a strong understandingoflaboratory science and technology. The individual performs diagnostictesting on blood tissue and other bodily fluids; operates and maintains laboratory equipment; analyzes test results and report findings to physicians and other healthcare providers; ensures quality control and compliance with safety protocols; maintains accurate patient records and laboratory documentation; collaborates with healthcareprofessionalstointerpret results and support patient care.
