Job Summary

As a Locum Hematology Oncology physician you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

Conduct patient evaluations and assessments in Hematology Oncology
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
Educate patients and their families about diagnoses and treatment options
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
Stay updated on the latest advancements in Hematology Oncology

Requirements

MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree
Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation
Strong interest in Hematology Oncology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Basic knowledge of medical software and electronic health records
Schedule: Monday-Thursday (8a-4:30p) and every third Friday
Call Requirement: Monday-Sunday every 3 weeks

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Volume: 12-15 per day

Patient Population: Ages 18

Support Staff: NPs RNs nurse navigators dieticians and palliative care

EMR: Epic Beacon

Must be board-certified
