In this role you will play a critical part in providing high-quality radiological services to our patients. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and interpret results
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
- Participate in case reviews and clinical discussions
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification in Radiology
- Valid medical license to practice in New York
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in radiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Call shifts may be available
All IR procedures required
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
