As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical care to our patients during night hours. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring that women receive the best possible treatment and support. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on providing comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct examinations diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
- Perform necessary surgical procedures and manage labor and delivery
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Respond to emergencies and provide timely interventions
- Educate patients about health wellness and preventive care
- Participate in on-call duties as required
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology (Associate level)
- Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work night shifts
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7p-7a
Delivery Volume: 700-800 annually
Level I Nursery
Duties: Deliveries triage of ED patients answering patient calls rounding on ED GYN patients and rounding on patients in L&D/MBU
Support Staff: CNM
Must be board-certified
