Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the emergency department
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostics of patients
- Stabilize patients experiencing medical emergencies
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient flow
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for emergency care
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on best practices
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment
- Experience in Emergency Medicine preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: 8p-8a
Patient Volume: 1200 per month 2 per hour
Fast track 4 days per week moving to 6 days per week
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
