Job Summary:The Electrification Systems Competency & Learning Specialist plays a dual role: leading the coordination of the global competency management cycle and designing comprehensive learning content for Electrification Systems. This position ensures efficient processes timely delivery and successful resource ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Competency Management:
2025/2026 Transition:
Lead the current competency management process until the transition to a new GEV skills process.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for competency champions ensuring a consistent methodology and template usage.
Coordinate projects through regular reviews with relevant teams.
Oversee consistent assessment and development campaigns across functions.
Design and implement a process to monitor global KPIs.
Manage the ITM tool and provide relevant data to Competency Champions and for Technical Session C meetings.
Ensure stakeholder expectations are met.
New Tool Implementation:
Lead the implementation of a new skills assessment tool in partnership with GEV for the transition to WD.
ISO 9001 Audit:
Actively participate in the preparation of the yearly ISO 9001 audit coordinating with local HR of audited sites.
Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP):
Integrate competency cycles into wider SWP talent and learning activities.
KPIs:
Propose and provide relevant KPIs to measure the efficiency of the process.
Learning Design Specialist:
Stakeholder Partnership:
Collaborate with stakeholders across GE Vernova Electrification Systems and business lines to define learning needs based on competency assessments and other requirements.
Curriculum Development:
Develop and implement transversal training content (curriculum) in partnership with subject matter experts and educational designers.
Learning Lifecycle:
Own the full lifecycle of each learning offering from design and development to delivery/deployment and success measurement.
Governance:
Establish governance of all on-demand learning experiences through regular reviews promotion and updates.
Learning KPIs:
Propose a set of standard Learning KPIs for all Electrification Systems and monitor them.
Vendor Partnerships:
Partner with third-party vendors to enhance the learning offering and define a panel of external vendors.
Leadership Engagement:
Engage top leaders in the learning culture and implement concrete actions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
Relevant experience in driving projects in Competency management & learning activities
