Job Summary

Are you looking to grow your career in Positive Behaviour Support Our MDT Allied Health team in the Central Coast is expanding and were seeking a passionate Behaviour Support Practitioner at Core or Proficient Level as confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. If youre based in the Gosford or Tuggerah area wed love to hear from you!

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting NDIS participants along with their families and/or carers to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Evaluating developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices in the home and community.
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants goals passions and strengths as well as ensuring they get more out of life.
  • Building the knowledge capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family carers friends etc.
  • Acting as an advocate and role model for best practice.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications :

To be successful youll need:

  • NDIS Commission suitability as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Core or Proficient level.
  • Degree qualification in an allied health field (e.g Psychology Social Work & Counselling).
  • Strong report writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • Genuine passion for the disability sector with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
