The Investigations and Enforcement Team at the Natural Resource Access Regulator (NRAR) has an exciting opportunity for a temporary Assessment Support Officer provides high quality customer service and administration support in the assessment of alleged breaches and offences relating to natural resources management legislation including Water Management Act 2000. Ensures accurate and timely data collection and entry into relevant business databases and record management systems to support compliance monitoring investigation and enforcement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for acknowledging receipt of complaints and reports.
  • Provide regulatory support to internal NRAR stakeholders directing referrals and enquiries related to assessment investigations and enforcement activities.
  • Communicate and escalate complex sensitive or challenging enquiries or correspondence.
  • Perform accurate and efficient data entry and administrative support to Assessment Officers and the Senior Assessment Officer.
  • Maintain records management systems with accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the assessment process by validating information and distributing it to the next phase.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in providing high quality customer service and providing a range of clerical administrative and general support services in a high-volume environment.
  • Appointment is subject to the successful applicant satisfactorily passing the criminal record check.
  • Hold a current NSW Drivers Licence and a willingness to drive to remote locations which may include overnight stays.
