We are now seeking a Director / Associate Director Legal Recruitment to drive growth deepen key client relationships and provide day-to-day leadership within our high-performing team.
The Role
You will be a senior leader and hands-on biller responsible for:
- Driving strategy and growth across your specialist markets and desks
- Leading and mentoring consultants
- Managing key client relationships with top and mid-tier firms boutiques and corporates nationally
- Overseeing candidate strategy quality control pipeline development and market mapping
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from pitch to placement and beyond
- Advising at partner and C-suite level on market conditions salary benchmarking and hiring strategy
- Driving commercial outcomes setting and achieving team revenue targets
Youll have the autonomy to shape your desk while playing a key role in the strategic direction of the broader business.
The ideal candidate:
You are a senior recruiter or lawyer-turned-recruiter ready to step up to a genuine leadership role.
Specifically you will:
- Bring 5 years experience in legal recruitment or a mix of legal practice and recruitment
- Have a proven track record of high billings and consistent revenue growth
- Be commercially sharp brand-conscious and outcomes-driven
- Have experience leading mentoring or coaching consultants (formal or informal)
- Present with polish confidence and credibility when dealing with partners and senior stakeholders
- Be highly organised with excellent written skills and strong attention to detail
- Be tech-savvy and comfortable working with databases MS Office and online platforms
- Enjoy a collaborative social environment while being self-motivated and accountable
