Job Description: Account Cloud Engineering (ACE) Intern

Location: Woodmead Johannesburg

Program Duration:This internship is a 12-month program starting 1 April 2025.

Eligibility: This internship is open to graduates who have not previously participated in an internship or held a permanent role for over 12 months.

In line with our obligations under the Employment Equity Act 1998 preference will be given to candidates from designated groups

Purpose of the Role:

The Account Cloud Engineering (ACE) Intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales team by acting as a shadow ACE. The primary objective of this role is to provide appropriate Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) technology solutions foster growth within the line of business and support all Cloud Engineering-related activities that contribute to business growth in the region and enhance brand visibility. The intern will focus on understanding customer needs proposing and building tailored solutions and ensuring effective execution towards achieving desired outcomes. As trusted advisors ACEs are integral to winning new customers and expanding Oracles footprint with existing clients while cultivating long-term customer relationships.

What you will do

• Assist the Sales team in identifying and understanding customer needs.
• Collaborate in proposing and building customized OCI technology solutions.
• Support Cloud Engineering activities to ensure proper execution and alignment with customer objectives.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing ones.
• Help maintain a strong presence in the market through various brand visibility activities.

Minimum Qualification

• or BSc in IT.

Desirable Qualification

• or BSc Honours in IT.
