Description
As a Locum MD/DO Radiology you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality radiological services to our clients. This position involves collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care while utilizing advanced imaging technologies. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and treating patients effectively contributing to the overall success of our medical staffing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive radiological services to patients
- Interpret and analyze medical imaging results
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff for patient care
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in continuing education and training programs
- Assist in developing radiology protocols and procedures
- Provide expert consultation to healthcare teams as needed
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Associate-level experience in Radiology
- Board certification in Radiology preferred
- Proficiency in imaging technologies (MRI CT X-ray etc.)
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Current medical license to practice in the relevant state
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
No call requirement
Daily Volume: 150 cases
Skillsets: Mammography nuclear medicine CT X-ray ultrasound MRI DEXA and fluoroscopy
Procedures Required: FNAs breast biopsies stereotactic biopsies paracentesis and thoracentesis
PACS: Synapse
Voice Recognition: Powerscribe One
Must be board-certified
