Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:

  • Oversee smooth station operations including fuel dispensing retail sales and equipment functionality.
  • Monitor fuel stock schedule timely orders and coordinate deliveries to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Ensure fuel dispensers generators and other systems are well-maintained and promptly repaired.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols for fuel handling and hazardous materials.

Staff Supervision and Training:

  • Manage pump attendants cashiers and maintenance staff ensuring discipline and productivity.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Promote courteous responsive service and high customer satisfaction.

  • Handle complaints related to pricing product quality or service delays professionally.

Sales and Financial Management:

  • Drive sales of fuel CNG lubricants and non-fuel products.
  • Monitor and adjust pump prices in line with market and internal policies.
  • Oversee cash management daily reconciliation and accurate financial reporting.
  • Support budget preparation and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with national OHS and environmental regulations.
  • Inspect pumps tanks and fire safety equipment regularly.
  • Supervise fuel leaks waste disposal and emergency drills to ensure preparedness.

Inventory & Supplier Management

  • Manage procurement and inventory of fuel and retail goods maintaining optimal levels.
  • Liaise with suppliers for timely delivery and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Maintain accurate inventory movement logs and supplier documentation for audits.

Maintenance Oversight:

  • Schedule routine checks for pumps equipment generators and CCTV.
  • Oversee prompt repairs or upgrades to avoid operational downtime.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring:

  • Submit reports on sales stock levels customer feedback and overall station performance.
  • Track KPIs such as profit margins shrinkage footfall and service quality metrics.


Requirements

Requirements

  • HND/BSc in Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-10 years experience managing a fuel station or downstream oil and gas retail outlet.
  • Strong leadership technical and customer service skills.
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance expectations.
  • Familiarity with inventory tools and Intermediate financial reporting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written report writing and presentation.
