Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce HSE policies procedures and programs.
- Conduct risk assessments safety audits and incident investigations.
- Deliver safety training toolbox talks and awareness sessions.
- Liaise with project teams subcontractors and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with construction safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain HSE documentation and reporting systems.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 7 years experience in Health Safety and Environment roles preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
- Proven experience developing implementing and monitoring HSE policies and procedures on construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations environmental standards and statutory compliance.
- Experience conducting risk assessments safety audits and incident investigations.
- Ability to lead site safety training toolbox talks and awareness programs.
- Experience working closely with project site and subcontractor teams to ensure compliance.
- Strong reporting documentation and regulatory liaison skills.
- Excellent communication leadership and enforcement abilities.
- Relevant qualification in HSE Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH ISPON OSHA) will be an added advantage.
