About Role:

ConveGenius Digital India is at the forefront of educational transformation and we operate at massive scale impacting millions of students. This role is the critical intersection between our deep-tech core and our user-facing delivery. This leader will take complete end-to-end ownership of the engineering health architectural integrity and delivery timelines for all client-facing applications.

This is a high-ownership hands-on senior leadership role responsible for scaling our mission-critical EdTech platform which serves over 121 million users. This high-ownership role ensures Mission-Critical Reliability requiring applications function flawlessly with real-time user experiences for millions requiring complete architectural and engineering ownership to guarantee on-time delivery without quality compromise. The leader reports directly to the CDSO focusing on robust data flow architectures and managing a multi-cloud/Hybrid Architecture essential for high scale and reliability in low-bandwidth EdTech environments.

Core Responsibilities:

Ownership of Platform Delivery (Hands-On Imperative): Must maintain non-negotiable hands-on ownership by serving as the final Architectural Authority performing rigorous Quality Gatekeeping (code/architecture reviews) and acting as the ultimate technical escalation point for Issue Resolution.

Engineering Management and Team Growth: Lead and mentor a substantial 15 person engineering team including leads by defining rigorous engineering practices and owning the recruitment retention and growth strategy to cultivate a high-performance culture.

Agile Governance and Project Rigor: Must ensure meticulous project execution by championing effective Agile methodologies using tools like Jira for precise tracking and building automated self-organizing processes to manage multiple concurrent deliveries across the large team.

Stakeholder Management and Interoperability: You will be the senior client-facing technical authority to manage expectations and provide system assurance to partners actively co-solutioning with Product and QA teams. Design and maintain standardized data schemas and secure interoperable API infrastructure to facilitate data transfer and analysis with external entities.

Key Technical Expertise Required:

Proficiency in architecting high-performance backends for real-time features and building complex data-intensive user interfaces.

Demonstrated expertise in Multi-Cloud Deployment. This includes optimizing infrastructure for cost security and redundancy.

Deep understanding of SQL Databases and interfacing with the central Data Warehouse. Essential for high-volume high-fidelity data ingestion that directly supports the adaptive learning engine and analytics.

Experience leading the design of highly scalable and resilient systems including Event-Driven Microservices Architecture and using Message Queuing to ensure reliable data capture and application functioning.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience: A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in software engineering and delivery with substantial influence over system design and technical architecture.

Leadership Track Record: At least 4 years in a senior technical leadership role managing and mentoring teams of 10 or more engineers including senior and lead technical staff.

Technical Depth: Demonstrated expertise and hands-on proficiency in the core stack: React SQL and managing large-scale infrastructure across different cloud service providers.

Process Mastery: Extensive proven experience running and scaling complex software delivery programs within an Agile methodology with mastery of tracking tools like Jira.

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
