Job Summary
What will a day in this role look like:
AECOMs Resources & Industrial (R&I) Team is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer in Townsville to support major projects across our broader R&I teams and offices including Brisbane Mackay and Newcastle.
Our team works across the broader mining sector including underground and open cut minerals processing smelting and mining support infrastructure plus general industrial facilities refineries sugar mills ports water and wastewater installations.
Your strong relationships with clients and your drive to support the continued growth of our team to deliver for our new and existing clients. You will be a hands-on leader responsible for the teams resource allocation & performance in both winning and delivering small to medium sized projects across the North Queensland region.
Qualifications :
What you will bring:
We are seeking a leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth in AECOM Townsville an individual who is looking to develop their career within a global organisation while working on a diverse range of projects from a very successful regional office.
- Knowledge of design Australian Standards ASME codes and API standards
- Ideally 5 years experience as a Civil Engineer within the Mining Industry with demonstrated experience in the design and specification of structural engineering
- Extensive mining heavy industry and industrial experience
- Excellent written and communication skills and stakeholder engagement capability.
- RPEQ accredited (or able to obtain).
