To project manage the delivery of the Stormwater Drainage annualised Capital Works Programs.
What youll be doing:
- Manage the Stormwater Drainage Upgrade and Rehabilitation programs including handling customer service requests conducting surveys CCTV inspections analysis and prioritisation of works.
- Project manage the delivery of the annual Stormwater Upgrade and Rehabilitation Capital Works Programs
- Undertake engineering designs specifications and cost estimates for Stormwater Drainage and civil infrastructure projects utilising CAD software (including AutoCAD and 12d) in accordance with relevant design standards guidelines and codes.
- Undertake assessment and approval of Stormwater Drainage civil engineering design plans from other Council staff consultants developers and government authorities to relevant standards guidelines and codes.
- Secure all necessary project approvals including but not limited to town planning permit environmental and cultural heritage utility service authorities and government authorities.
- Manage the engagement and performance of external consultants to produce project deliverables.
- Undertake all relevant consultation with internal stakeholders including Parks and Open Space regarding existing and new street trees.
- Perform hydrological analysis assessment and design to support capital projects and investigations.
- Assist in the development of future flood mapping initiatives within Hume including data collection validation and integration.
The skills and experience youll bring to the role:
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in Stormwater Drainage hydrologic analysis and design WSUD flood modelling Civil Design Project Management Construction Supervision and Asset Management.
- Demonstrated application of related engineering software packages including computer aided design (AutoCAD and 12d).
- Project management skills in the design delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience in stormwater/hydrology assessment and design civil design assessment of engineering plans tender/procurement documents project management construction supervision and asset management systems.
- Well-developed skills in report writing and correspondence for a wide range of audiences.
- Well-developed verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate complex matters simply clearly and logically in a professional and courteous manner to a wide range of audiences.
Required Certifications & Qualifications
- Washington Accord accredited Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
- Current Victorian drivers license.
