About the Role

You will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). The Senior Medical Radiation Scientist (MRS) is responsible for the provision scheduling and supervision of services within a section of the Department of Molecular Imaging (PET & Nuclear Medicine; the Department) under the direction of the Deputy Chief MRS and Chief MRS. The Senior MRS is required to perform clinical duties in PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine to a high standard and assist the Chief MRS in ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the Department and with the supervision of Level 1-3 MRS staff.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) Nuclear Medicine Licenced with the EPA and AHPRA Registration.
Documented extensive experience performing PET-CT and general nuclear medicine scans/procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multidisciplinary health care environment.
Ability to instruct MRS students and other health workers in appropriate techniques.
