Sr Cost Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Analyst Product Costing & Margin Analytics to serve as the financial expert for a specific substrate family (paper plastic foam etc.). In this role you will provide accurate transparent costing and actionable insights that empower smarter pricing product development and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities & Results

• Develop and maintain detailed cost models for assigned substrates and production processes.
• Provide costing support for RFQs new product development initiatives and business case evaluations.
• Partner with operations procurement and engineering to validate assumptions and uncover savings opportunities.
• Highlight cost and margin risks and opportunities to business and finance leadership.
• Support standardization of cost methodologies and ensure consistent reporting across business units.

What Were Looking For

• Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Engineering with 37 years in product costing plant finance or FP&A preferably in a manufacturing setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel-based cost modeling; experience with SAP.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of standard costing bill of materials and manufacturing cost flows.
