Role: Operations Lead - Systemic Education Transformation Gandhinagar

About the role:
The Gujarat Operations Lead is a senior hands-on role responsible for driving large-scale systemic change in the state. This position requires a leader who can manage government partnerships team development and field implementation to ensure the massive impact of our Wellbeing and Foundational Skills initiatives across Gujarat.
1. Government Partnership and Strategy
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key government stakeholders and officials in Gujarat.
- Systemic Alignment: Drive partnership strategy to co-create institutionalize and ensure high-fidelity implementation of our programs within the state education framework.
- Advocacy: Use program data and insights to build trust and strengthen the long-term commitment of the State Government.
2. Program Implementation and Team Management
- Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the entire Gujarat team ensuring excellence in program execution teacher training and curriculum deployment.
- On-Ground Focus: Be comfortable with frequent travel and extensive time on the ground to support program implementation and research providing direct support to state-level teams.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the program is running effectively in the field meeting quality benchmarks for teacher training and child engagement.
3. Data Research and Documentation
- Impact Documentation: Lead the data collection and documentation process for on-ground impact ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines.
- Reporting: Work on documentation of reports research and other professional outputs to share insights with leadership and partners.
- Data Analysis: Be excited by working with large datasets to derive meaningful insights that inform program iteration and systemic change.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5 years of progressive on-ground experience is required specifically involving:
- Direct experience with children/youth and government officials.
- Expertise in teacher training and large-scale program implementation.
- Experience and interest in education mental health and psychosocial development is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Education Economics Public Policy Social Sciences or a related field.
- Languages: Fluency in Hindi and English is mandatory with fluency in Gujarati being highly preferred for effective government and field coordination.
