Job Summary

Job Title: Forklift Mechanic

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Group Engineering Manager

Location: Fiji

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Mechanic with strong expertise in combustion engines and material-handling equipment. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in maintaining repairing and servicing forklifts and other heavy machinery.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability.
Knowledge of correct tool/equipment selection and usage.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good understanding of brake systems tire/wheel replacements and hydraulic operations.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years in maintenance and servicing of material handling equipment (MHE) heavy machinery and forklifts.
Strong background as a heavy mechanic especially with combustion enginebased equipment.
Experience working on LP gas diesel systems and EV models is preferred.
Diploma or Certification in Mechanical Engineering
Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment Maintenance or equivalent

Required Skills:

Experience 3 years of experience as an Auto Forklift Mechanic

Required Education:
